I got my new detent cable installed and after reading all the threads on adjusting it i took the throttle to wot and on my detent you pus down on the d shaped chrome button to open the adjusting ribbed stem so i did that the wot took the cable out to the end of travel of the throttle just fine. I am trying to adjust the shifter cable and i cant get enough adjustment out of the cable to get the floor shifter to go into l1 and l2. The tv throttle valve detent cable controls line pressure shift points part throttle downshifts and detent downshifts.
