Monday september 7 2020. Housing residence life is responding to the unprecedented challenges that have been presented by the covid 19 pandemic. Housing residence life works collaboratively to create open welcoming communities on grounds for students at the university of virginia. Each student s university id card will be activated allowing access to that student s room on the day of their move in appointment.

Fall 2020 classes begin. Residents are empowered to engage their potential as scholars and leaders through self governance and participation in residential area activities and leadership. Students will select their own move in timeslot. We are creating an expanded wahoo welcome program for all incoming first year students.
